This week:
October 9th is Unity Day. We all wear orange to raise awareness of bullying prevention.
October 10th we travel to Edinburg to visit The University of Texas Pan American's annual HESTEC event! Don't forget to be at school by 6:30 a.m. sporting your Falcon t-shirt or a black t-shirt.

October 10th is Report Card Pick-up Night. If your child is in my homeroom, stop by my classroom from 4:00-5:30 p.m. to pick-up your child's report card. You may also visit with the other grade level teachers. Hope to see you all here!
Rock Cycle Activity
Students created the three different kinds of rocks using crayon shavings (sediments).

How does deposition work?
Students worked with pebbles, sand, dirt, and water to show how denser particles will settle first and thus the beginning of the lithification process.
